HOW HAS LIVING IN ROTTERDAM SHAPED YOUR STYLE OR CREATIVE PERSPECTIVE?
Living in Rotterdam has shaped my creative perspective. I think it’s a very creative city - there’s a lot of art around you, and the people here are quite expressive as well.
I also went to a graphic design school, where people really weren’t afraid to express themselves - and that influenced me a lot. It made me more confident about experimenting, especially in fashion.
And Rotterdam itself is quite raw, in the best way. It’s not overly polished, and I love that. That energy really reflects in my style.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE “HIDDEN GEM” IN ROTTERDAM THAT FEELS VERY YOU?
One of my favorite hidden gems is Lucia Rotterdam. We had a STELLA NOVA dinner there, and I just loved everything about it. The interior is perfect - it’s not overdone, it’s just exactly right. The vibe is really good, the service is great, and the food is amazing.
It’s also not right in the city center, which I love - it feels more local, and very Rotterdam.
WHAT’S SOMETHING ABOUT YOU THAT YOUR FOLLOWERS WOULD NEVER GUESS?
Honestly… I don’t think there’s much left to guess. I share a lot, and I think people already know quite a lot about me. I sometimes joke that there’s nothing they don’t know at this point.
WHEN DO YOU FEEL MOST LIKE YOURSELF?
When my hormones are balanced, the sun is shining, and I’m wearing a good outfit. And when my face is just… Cooperating that day. Those days where everything falls into place - that’s when I feel most like myself.

HAS YOUR DEFINITION OF “BEING CONFIDENT” CHANGED OVER TIME?
Yes, absolutely. I think in your twenties, you’re still figuring out who you are, and that often comes with insecurities - like constantly wondering what other people think of you. It was a challenging but also valuable phase. But towards my late twenties, I became so much more confident. I care way less about other people’s opinions now. I realized that what people project onto you often says more about them than about you. So now I just focus on what feels good to me. If I love an outfit and someone else doesn’t - that’s completely fine.
WHAT MADE YOU LEAP INTO BECOMING A FULL-TIME INFLUENCER?
I started about 12 years ago, just posting outfits on Instagram for fun. At one point, I even said, “My goal is just to get some nice free stuff like other influencers do”.
Well… Be careful what you wish for. Over the years, it slowly grew. Every year, I took a step forward, and my goals kept evolving. And eventually, it turned into what I do full-time now. Something I could have never imagined back then.
WHAT’S BEEN THE BIGGEST SURPRISE (GOOD OR BAD) ABOUT DOING THIS FULL-TIME?
Honestly, there hasn’t really been a big surprise. It grew very gradually. I worked alongside it for a long time and slowly reduced my hours until I went full-time about a year ago. I also come from a marketing background, so I understand the industry quite well already. But what still amazes me are the opportunities - press trips, paid collaborations, brands reaching out where I’m like… “Do you even know I exist?”. That still feels surreal - and yes, it’s also a little ego boost.
WHAT DOES A “REALISTIC” DAY IN YOUR LIFE LOOK LIKE BEHIND THE SCENES?
I usually wake up around 7:30 and spend the first hour scrolling in bed.
Then I go downstairs and post content on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. I reply to DMs and comments, have breakfast, coffee… and probably scroll a bit more.
After that, I get dressed and start filming - either a collaboration or one of my many ideas. I have a very long list of content ideas, so sometimes I don’t even know where to start - Hello ADHD.
Then comes editing… Which I hate, because it takes forever - but it must be done.
I’m also always busy with my home - moving things around, redecorating, and starting random interior projects.
During the day, I’m basically always doing something - cleaning, organizing, working, or going to an event. I don’t really give myself much rest during the day.
I usually relax in the evening with a series. And I try to work out about four times a week - Pilates, RoCycle, strength training at the gym, HIIT workouts, and Sweat Attack, which is like a duo-style workout where you train together. I love mixing it up.
HOW DO YOU SEPARATE YOUR PERSONAL LIFE FROM YOUR ONLINE PRESENCE?
Honestly… I don’t really. I share pretty much everything. I do consider whether the people I’m with are comfortable being online. But I don’t really have strict boundaries. Everything could be content if I wanted it to be. I do try to be present with friends and family, though, to really live in the moment.

HAVE YOU EVER FELT PRESSURE TO CONSTANTLY BE “ON,” AND HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH THAT?
Yes, definitely. Because I share so many parts of my life, I’m kind of always “on.” I see content in everything. That makes creating easier, but it also means I’m always switched on - sometimes without realizing it. And that can be a bit much at times. I think I still need to create more space for myself in that. Maybe more structure, less screen time… I’m still figuring that out. I’m learning.
WHERE DO YOU USUALLY FIND INSPIRATION WHEN YOU FEEL CREATIVELY STUCK?
Honestly, I’m rarely stuck. I save everything I like on Instagram, in different folders with categories like easy ideas, outfit inspiration, or content concepts. I also keep a running list in my notes and in TickTick. And I use Pinterest a lot as well, especially for outfit inspiration. I scroll there a lot when I want fresh ideas - and I can recommend that to anyone.
So, if I ever feel stuck, I just go back to those folders, and I’m usually good again.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE IN 3 UNEXPECTED WORDS?
Contrasting, refined, and slightly playful.
I love mixing something classic or chic with something more urban. And I like color - but in a controlled way. Not too much… I’m not a cupcake. It’s always about balance.
WHAT’S ONE OUTFIT OR LOOK THAT REALLY REPRESENTS WHO YOU ARE RIGHT NOW?
I don’t think there’s just one. One day I’m very feminine, the next I’m in oversized pieces with sneakers. It really depends on my mood. So, I think the variety is what represents me most.
HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH COMPARISON IN SUCH A VISUAL INDUSTRY?
It can be difficult sometimes. But I remind myself that people follow me for me, my personality, humor, style, and the way I share my life. That combination is what makes me unique. And if something doesn’t perform well, I try to look at it analytically - what can I improve?
I’m always evolving and reinventing myself while staying relatable.
WHAT KEEPS YOU GROUNDED WHEN EVERYTHING FEELS OVERWHELMING?
Honestly… sometimes it’s just my Ritalin. Having ADHD and doing this kind of work can get overwhelming quickly. But my boyfriend also really helps me. He reminds me to slow down and take a step back. And sometimes I just zoom out and think about how small everything is in the grand scheme of things. And then I’m like, okay… Relax. It’s not that deep.
