Trine: Hi Sophie… What’s on your mind?

Sophie: That’s a very open question, but I will start out by saying that I want to encourage everyone to manifest more in the

Trine: What does that mean?

Sophie: Wishes that come from the heart. I really wish for my own generation, that we become better at holding on to the dreams and visions we create for our own lives instead of letting us be so affected by external circumstances.

Trine: How do you manifest that?

Sophie: I manifest through my dreams and goals in life, in principle it can be through anything really. In reality, it is because I truly think it is important to be clear and straightforward about the dreams and desires you have for your life, for your own sake.

Trine: How do you make these dreams and visions clear?

Sophie: I strongly believe in sending energies into the universe, because I believe something is gonna come back.

Trine: Then you just have to hope that what comes back is something good and just what you wished for.

Sophie: Yes, and that’s exactly why you have to be clear about what you wish for… And that’s precisely what manifesting is all about, - but you have to have a positive attitude towards what you send out.

Trine: How do you formulate these things? Is it something you write down or something you say out loud to yourself… Or to others?

Sophie: Most commonly, it is thoughts that I have, which I sometimes share with a selected few and clarify to myself.

Trine: Where does the manifestation lie?

Sophie: I try to be as concrete as possible and act upon my thoughts. I am very clear and honest with myself about what I would like to achieve. I visualize the goals and that becomes a form of manifesting to me. You have to think about things with a positive energy and a strong belief that these dreams can become reality.

Trine: I have also used visualization techniques many times in my life, and I see what you’re describing as a bit of the same. It has definitely helped me a lot when I have wanted to reach a certain goal or I was about to make a big change in my life… And it is such a great tool, at least it works for me when I have uncertainties or there are big changes happening. Fashion is also a kind of manifestation, and I know you work in fashion… Also through your education as a design-technologist. What inspires you?

Sophie: When it comes to my own personal style, it is mostly films where I find the biggest inspiration… It is probably also true in relation to decorating my home. I don’t feel like a slave to fashion or trends, because for me it is more about the era and atmosphere that gives me the desire to create something. When it comes down to it, I am probably more rooted in the more classical and that is often what comes back again and again.

Trine: Are you dreaming of becoming a designer?

Sophie: Yes, I am.

Trine: Do you know exactly what you would like to make?

Sophie: Yes, I have actually been working on something for a while now, but I can feel I am not completely ready to share it yet.

Trine: I know that feeling. Sometimes things need to mature like a fine wine before being shared with the world.

Sophie: Precisely, and that is what’s going to happen when I am ready, hopefully it won’t be long. Right now I am still in the visualization phase and where it is all taking shape.

Trine: I am very excited to hear more about it all. Thank you for your time dear Sophie and for wanting to share some of your thoughts.
